Live Monitor 

The Live Monitor provides you live information on the securities you choose.  It allows you the flexibility to have at a glance all the relevant pricing information on all those securities you wish to monitor. You can choose you preferred visualitation method, customize the order of the securities or the fields to display. It is a highly flexible tool providing you with an array of options to maximize your focus on the relevant data 
Custom Layout
You can display live data in three different ways: Table mode where each line has one security with all the pricing information in the columns. Tiles Mode where each security is displayed in a box. There are several types of tile you can display, with different information. Live Chart Mode where each security's live movements are plotted in a chart set at defined time intervals

Connections Management
Automatic smart management of all updates

Automatically detects which securities have web-socket support and automatically manages all connections and updates
Static API calls to refresh quotes for securities that do not have web-socket support
Socket led next to the symbol shows the connection status: green: socket connected and receiving; amber: socket connected and waiting; gray: socket not connected; No led means the security does not have web-socket support and is refreshed via a static API call. Leds can be hidden if so desired
Sockets can be opened or closed via the switch on the status bar
Automatic refresh of static API calls can be turned on or off and the interval can be set via the menus in the status bar

Main Menu: Manage Visualisations
At the top of the page is the main menu which includes the following commands

Larger Tiles

Increase the size of the tiles (less tiles per row). Only displayes in tile mode

Smaller Tiles

Decrease the size of the tiles (more tiles per row). Only displayed in tile mode

Expand Table Row Size

Increases the height of the rows in table mode (larger fonts). Only displayed in table mode

Reduce Table Row Size

Reduces the height of the rows in table mode (smaller fonts). Only displayed in table mode

Toggle Views

Cycle through all different view types (tiles or table)

Turn Off/On Socket Leds

Show or hide leds next to the symbol for those securities where there is web-socket support for real-time push updates

Open the menu to manage all symbols

Status Bar: Manage Updates and Connections
At the bottom of the page, the status bar includes the following commands

Activate Autorefresh Button

Activates or deactivates the autorefresh function for static API refresh.  When this button is on, a static API call is made for every security in the screen to get the latest price update, unless in the settings is specified to do this only for those securities that do not have support for web-socket refresh

Autorefresh Timer

The timer for autorefresh.  When active (green) the timer displays the time remaining to the next refresh.  Click on the timer to trigger an immediate refresh

Socket Status Leds

Shows the status for each web-socket.  On (green), waiting (yellow) and off (gray).  The sockets are C (Cryptos), F (Forex), Q (Stock Quotes) and T (Stock Trades).

Turns on or off the web-sockets

Contextual Menus

Manage Symbols Menu

Add Symbols:  Add symbols (more than one, comma or space separated) to the Live Monitor. Use full symbol as on the provider's API, including its suffix (i.e.: AAPL.US)
Remove Symbols: Presents a list with all symbols on the Live Monitor and allows you to select which ones to remove of if to remove all symbols
Import From News: Import all symbols in the News section
Combine With News: Combines all symbols in the Love Monitor and in the News sections and assigns them to both
Intersect With News: Keeps only the symbols common to the Live Monitor and the News section
Load From Server: Opens a list of available curated symbols lists with their description that can be downloaded and either added to the existing symbols or replacing them entirely

Edit Symbol Menu

Clicking on a tile or on a symbol in table mode brings up the Edit Symbols Menu which allows you to modify the single security selected

Edit: Allows you to change the symbol and thus the security displayed in the selected position
News: Takes you to the News section where the articles are automatically filtered for the selected symbol
Chart: Takes you to the Chart section for the selected symbol
Delete: Removes the symbols from the Live Monitor
